This Timberline Lodge elopement was a winter dream. I hit the road and it was a crisp sunny day which made me all the more excited to meet up with  XX and XX for their intimate mountain elopement. . The mountain was glowing almost as much as the faces when I walked in to the cozy lodge. This place is so rustic and had a mighty fine view if I may say.

We snuck away from family for a bit to take in the snow and get a few photos before it was time to share stories, rings, and promises. I could tell there was some nervousness in the air but we got some good laughs in to help with that.

The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, standing before a mountain, and in front of a fireplace I thought of all the contrasts hat love has to offer. I could tell this moment was a long time coming and happy tears quietly flowed around the fire. 

This day was completely set on their own agenda and it worked out perfectly.. There was no rush (well maybe for champagne and cake), no stress, and a perfect flow to it all. We were able to finish with the toasts and head out once more to walk through the snow towards Mt Hood with XXX sister and their best friend. It was such a beautiful way to end the day and get some I just got married! excitement out.

So no matter where your from, you can always venture off to new places to elope. Its a great way to get to vacation with family and share a beautiful gathering together while exploring a new spot.
